I don't have much wiggle room here. People say that I look like Harry Hill or Gregg Wallace from Masterchef. This is because we share common features, such as a face and glasses.

My main interests lie in 20th Century British, European and American history. I particularly enjoy the Cold War era, as well as Victorian history and politics in the age of Gladstone and Disraeli. I also very much enjoy teaching Russian history, from Lenin to Stalin, and many aspects of medieval British history.
I have been an examiner for AQA since 2007.
Before training to teach, I taught undergraduate students at the University of Leicester whilst studying for my Masters degrees.

I am an unapologetic supporter of Manchester United Football Club and FC United of Manchester.
I've been know to sink several hundred hours into The Witcher 3 and the Assassin's Creed franchise and need to not do that!
