Several groups of students located in New Zealand or internationally are mentored by senior Rosmini College students. Mentoring covers identified needs of the group, such as project work, learning about study and travel in New Zealand, language development, and NCEA/senior examination assistance and confidence building.
Mentoring meet ups are usually weekly, however some groups meet more frequently, depending on need.
More information on peer mentoring can be obtained by emailing gwood@rosmini.school.nz
These students live on a tiny remote Pacific island. Twice weekly connections with their mentor students in New Zealand helped introduce new opportunities and understanding about the outside world.
