What is mindfulness?

  • Mindfulness is "paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the moment, non judgementally".

  • It's about single tasking.

  • It is the basic human ability to be fully present. During this state we are aware of where we are and what we are doing.

  • Everyone can be mindful and we can practice being midful anytime and anywhere.


Why be mindful?

Mindfulness has benefits including:

  • Reducing running thoughts

  • Reducing stress

  • Boosts working memory

  • Higher brain function

  • Increased clarity

  • Lowered anxiety and depression
