What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is "paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the moment, non judgementally".
It's about single tasking.
It is the basic human ability to be fully present. During this state we are aware of where we are and what we are doing.
Everyone can be mindful and we can practice being midful anytime and anywhere.
Why be mindful?
Mindfulness has benefits including:
Reducing running thoughts
Reducing stress
Boosts working memory
Higher brain function
Increased clarity
Lowered anxiety and depression
