Youth Health Clinic
Free medical consultations for youth aged 12 - 24 years. No appointment necessary.
Tuesdays 2.30pm - 4.30pm.
At the YMCA (7-9 Sophia Street).
General practitioner (GP)
General practitioners (GPs) treat all common medical conditions and refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment. They focus on the health of the whole person combining physical, psychological and social aspects of care.
GPs can provide mental health support and discuss counselling options with patients.
Dental care
Children in New Zealand are entitled to free basic oral health services from birth to 17 years of age (until their 18th birthday).
