FastForward

FastForward is a high-demand program helping Virginians get the jobs they want and the salaries they need. FastForward programs are short-term training courses offered through Virginia’s Community Colleges to help you fast-track your career.

At Blue Ridge Community College, most credential programs take between five weeks to 12 weeks (no more than a year) and are built so students can get their education while they work.

Funding

• The program discounts certain classes for Virginia residents.
  • Students pay 33% of the tuition when they register.
  • The State pays 66%. Students MUST finish the course and attempt the credential.
• Funding for this program is limited and may not be available at all times.
• Certain requirements do apply to be eligible.

  • Phlebotomy Technician
• Machining
• Transportation and Logistics:
  • Commercial Driver’s License Class A and Class B
  • Certified Logistics Associate
  • Certified Logistics Technician
• Welding
