Application Process
Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) is a great first choice or back up plan for any student graduating high school. The application is FREE and takes about 20 minutes to complete.
You do not submit recommendation letters or write essays when applying to Blue Ridge Community College.
Once you've applied, use the information they give you to log in to your student account to create a permanent password and set up your security questions. Keep your username, password, and emplid # (student ID) in a safe place.
You do not have to take the PSAT, SAT or ACT to enroll at Blue Ridge Community College, however, these scores can be used to exempt the English and/or Math Placement Tests, if the scores qualify.
BRCC has a rolling admissions process which means you can apply any time during your last year of high school up until the day before classes begin. However, waiting until the last minute can create a very stressful situation so planning ahead is important.
