What is Anxiety?

Anxiety or worry is our bodies natural response to stress. Sometimes we feel worried or anxious when we have to present in front of the class or if we have to switch schools.

What Does it look like?

Anxiety can present itself in many different ways in your body and in your mind.


  • Being easily angered or irritated

  • Having a hard time falling asleep or staying asleep

  • Feeling lots of different emotions when we don't want to feel those emotions

  • Frequent headaches or stomach aches

  • Rapid heart rate


Its important to remember these feelings are NORMAL! When experiencing anxiety or worry you don't need to"stop" it. Rather, recognize it and use the tips below to help control how you feel.
