What is Beestar? (Kids Community for Academic Excellence)
Beestar is a new competition that River Edge is piloting this year. In the past, all our math competitions existed for Grades 2nd and higher with no options for our younger students. Beestar does offer multiple grade level contests but we offer it this year for second grade only.
What does piloting mean and why only for Grade 2? Since this is a new contest for us, we'd like to "TRY" it out and see whether we feel it's worthwhile for our students. That means both a good use of our time and money. In the meantime, students in Grade 2 will have another contest option besides NOETIC LEARNING (currently their only contest option twice a year).
Please refer to the main Math Contest page for information and dates on all math competitions this year.

The National Competition option shows the dates for all their contests (Dash & Spark rounds) and offers free sample tests.
The Progressive Exercises option offers worksheets in various topics.
The Printable Worksheets offers math practice for Grades 1-8.
