23-24 Team Info

2023-24 Competition Year

We are kicking off our 23-24 competition year this week (Nov 13th) with the first after school team practices.  The teams are set, the problems are being chosen and the coaches are excited and ready to begin.  Here is some information about practices and coaches for those students participating this year.

Cherry Hill Teams

Coach - Mrs Hafers  (hafersn@riveredgeschools.org)

Teams -  Mrs. Hafers will coach BOTH teams at CHS this year.

Problem 3 (Classics) Team - "Opening Night Antics"

Problem 5 (Performance) Team - "Rocking World Detour"

Cherry Hill School Schedule:

In School Classes: Purpose is to practice spontaneous problem solving

WED AM - 10:20-11:00 AM - In the MPR at Mrs. Hafers (for both/either team, who are able to attend during this time.  These students don't have theater or any other conflicts during this slot.)

FRI AM - 10:30-11:00 - in STEAM lab with Mr. Irons (for both/either team, and students who can't make it on Wednesday with Mrs. Hafers because of class conflicts, like STEAM or theater).  

After School Classes: Purpose is to work on the Long Term Problems together as a group.

WED 3-5 PM- Team 5/ Problem 5.  TBD

THURS 3-5 PM - Team 3/Problem 3.  Meet Mrs. Hafers in the MPR at 3pm after dismissal.

TUES  AM - 10:00-10:30 AM - In Room 106 with Mrs. Hafers with the 3rd/4th grade team  (Ms. Denn's team)

FRI AM -  tbd - in STEAM lab at Roosevelt with Ms. Proda with the 5th/6th grade team (Ms. Proda's team)

After School Classes: Purpose is to work on the Long Term Problems together as a group.
