ODYSSEY of the Mind (OOTM)
ODYSSEY IS ON HOLD for this year.
Our program is currently on hold while we try to identify new coaches for this year. Please consider coaching this year and applying on the district site to be a coach. This program is well loved and has grown so much since 2016, much student interest. We hate to see it not continue this year. Anyone over the age of 18 may apply.

The student application link is below. There are also paper copies outside both of my classrooms at each school. Student applications must be handwritten and are due Friday the 13th of October!

Read the problem synopses (link at the top) and think about which problem interests you the most!
Discuss the responsibilities and possible tournament dates with your family.
Complete the Student Application and return to Mrs. Hafers by TBD.
Notes:
Hard copies of both the problem synopses and student application will be available outside of Mrs. Hafers's classrooms at both Cherry Hill and Roosevelt.
Applications must be hand written by students.
Completed applications may be returned to Mrs. Hafers's mailbox in the main office at either school .
Students who were on any of our Odyssey teams last year must still submit an application.

What is Odyssey of the Mind?
OOTM is a fun, creative competition for students in elementary school through college. River Edge has participated in the Odyssey of the Mind Challenge (OOTM) for 4+ years. Teams of 5-7 students compete in problem solving, both spontaneous and long term. There are regional, state and a world competition. Participation is not limited to CREATE students.

Our 2021-2022 SEASON
River Edge formed three teams that competed in Regionals. One team advanced to states and also qualified for Worlds!
