If you have REGISTERED using the google form above by the registration deadline posted on the calendar, then you will be ROSTERED for that contest. You are now ready for STEP 2. This will happen monthly as each month's schedule is posted.
Step 2 means picking a day and time (a "proctor" slot) WHEN you will come to Mrs. Hafers's physical room, sit in a chair and take the contest.
Each month, a schedule is created listing all the dates and times for that month's contest(s). That month's schedule will be LINKED to the Dates & Deadlines calendar and also posted to the Math Competition google classroom.
There will be a sign up/proctor sheet for EACH contest happening that month. The SIGN UP sheets are to reserve your spot for each contest on those days.
NO ONE WILL BE ROSTERED OR REGISTERED FROM A PROCTOR SIGN UP SHEET. Students must sign up from the google registration form. That is the source of all rosters and user id generation and lets everyone know who is participating in a contest.
Only students and teachers can edit that month's PROCTOR SLOT SIGN UP SHEET in the google classroom (under Calendar, Registration & Test Slots). The number of slots for each time is determined by the amount of seats Mrs. Hafers physically has in her classroom.
Anyone absent on the day of the contest should contact Mrs. Hafers directly for a make up or simply move their name to another open slot if there are any available and the contest window is still open.
If you only sign up for a proctor slot but never registered, you will not be able to actually participate in the contest. Rostering is only done from the Google registration form as user id's and passwords need to be generated for most contests.
