ENRICHMENT
Enrichment is our TIER II level program offering this year, within our overall Gifted and Talented program. Enrichment for Grades 4th-6th is still split between Math and ELA (Language arts). This year, enrichment for grades K-3 is now integrated into a single class. All enrichment classes will run for the full year. For more information on who is teaching each enrichment class for each grade, at each school, please check the Schedule and Contacts page under G&T.

There are many different kinds of relationships that exist, like part to whole, shared traits. We challenged ourselves with harder problems where we had to first identify and define the way that items were related and either select the one that did NOT belong or suggest another item that DID.

We expanded to analogies which are a lot of fun. As a final project, I asked the students to write their own relationship questions in any format they wished. Here is a slide show, with answer keys, of their great work! This lesson was shared with their classroom teachers, too, and some of the students "taught" their classmates all about analogies
