Doors Opening and End of Day Arrangements

Children are admitted to school from 8.40am onwards, when a member of staff is on duty to welcome them at the entrance to the building.

• Breakfast Club: Available from 8.00am for children attending Breakfast Club. Children should enter via the Year 3 door only.

• Supervision before 8.40am: There is no staff supervision on the school yards before 8.40am (except for Breakfast Club). We kindly ask that children do not arrive at school before this time.

• At the beginning and end of the day: Parents are requested to wait on the school yards. Please do not sit, or allow younger children to sit, on walls, or to play on the yards or with any outdoor equipment.

• Outdoor equipment: Netball posts, goal posts, Connect 4 games, and Forest School areas are only for use during school hours under staff supervision.

• End of day pick-up: At the end of the day, your child will be brought onto the yard to a designated place by the class teacher or teaching assistant.

These arrangements ensure the safety of all children and a smooth start and end to the school day.
