Professional Learning Self-Assessment (Post)

In order to adequately assess your growth in the professional learning offered this year around the 7 components of the Rock Hill Schools Instructional Framework (See Framework Components Here), we are asking that you complete the professional learning self-assessment again. Your feedback is essential in helping the Instruction Team plan and prepare to support you during the upcoming school year. Please take a few moments to complete the self-assessment, being as honest about your needs as possible. All certified teachers are asked to complete the self-assessment by the end of the March 22nd workday.

Click the Self-Assessment icon on the left to access the form.

Don't Forget...

Resources to Bring

Conference Attendance and Registration- Certified Employees

Participation in the March 22nd Professional Learning Day is required for all certified employees of the district. All district employees should report to their assigned conference sites (South Pointe High, Castle Heights, ATC, District Office) that day. Personal days may not be taken on this day without prior approval from the district Superintendent, and no "exchange days" will be offered within the year as an alternative for an absence on this day.

Attendance and Registration for Non-Certified Staff and Teaching Interns

Non-certified, full-time employees may attend the professional learning although it is not a requirement. All non-certified employees have access to KickUp and may register for any sessions of interest.

Teaching Interns may attend the conference; however, because they are not employees of the district, they are not able to register via KickUp. Internship supervisors will have to share the session information with their interns.

Helpful Information for Participants

Accessing KickUp

Participants should register for conference sessions through KickUp. PLC sessions are linked to KickUp in the Conference Schedule at a Glance. All district employees have KickUp accounts. If you are not able to access your KickUp account, please email jholmes@rhmail.org.

Registration Troubleshooting Tips:

1) If you are experiencing issues logging-in to KickUp, you should try resetting your password using the "Forgot my password" feature.
2) If you are having trouble registering for a session, you should view your events log to be sure you are not registering for a session scheduled at the same time as another event for which you are already registered.
3) If you are having trouble registering for a session, you should check the attendance line of the session to be sure it is not full.

Session Expectations

Review the expectations for all sessions prior to the conference.

Conference Help Desk

A Conference Help Desk will be available in the gallery at each site to provide assistance during the conference from 7:15 am to 11:30 am on the day of the conference.

Special Accommodations

Individuals with needs for special accommodations including lactation rooms  and accommodations for food allergies should email Dr. Holmes at jholmes@rhmail.org before March 22nd.
