Description: Blended learning is a research-based modality of instruction that best brings to life Rush-Henrietta’s vision. This student-centered approach combines online educational materials and a range of instructional models with traditional classroom methods. It requires the presence of both teacher and student, with some elements of student control over the time, place, path, and/or pace of learning. Blended learning allows students to seamlessly pivot between in person and online experiences. In a school closure, blended learning can be easily adapted to occur exclusively in a remote setting. This self-directed learning opportunity will focus on Station Rotation Models.
