Students may select from the following full year Language subjects. Successful completion of the previous year's course is a requirement.
Students develop and apply their language and intercultural knowledge, understanding and skills to:
interact with others in French in interpersonal situations
create texts in French for specific audiences, purposes and contexts
analyse texts that are in French to interpret meaning.
There are 3 interconnected themes: relationships, lifestyles and experiences. Within these there are topics that provide the contexts for a range of assessment tasks.
Students will complete 8 tasks which includes the examination. The assessment design criteria that students are expected to demonstrate include: ideas, expression, interpretation and reflection.

Stage 2 French Continuers is organised around 3 themes: the individual, the French-speaking communities and the changing world. These themes have been selected to promote meaningful communication and enable students to extend their understanding of the relationships between language, culture and identity.
The assessment design criteria which students are expected to demonstrate include ideas, expression, interpretation and reflection.
