Often post-secondary testing is required prior to admission to a college or university. The three most common tests RVHS students would be asked to take are the Accuplacer, the ACT or the ASVAB.
It’s important to note that many colleges and universities may not be requiring a standardized assessment score as part of their admissions process this fall given circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students should contact their post-secondary institutions of interest for specific modifications to the admission requirements they may have.
An integrated system of assessments designed to evaluate a student’s skills in Reading, Writing, and Math. It is common for admission to two-year schools.
A national college admissions exam that consists of subject area tests in Reading, Math, English, and Science. Commonly used for admission to four-year colleges and universities.
A multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military.
All RVHS 11th grade students will have the opportunity to take one of three postsecondary tests on March 24,2026.
