College is defined as: ANY post-secondary education beyond a high school diploma. This includes, 2 week training programs, 8 week certificates, military training, 2 and 4 year degrees.

Direct Admissions offers all high school students a look at postsecondary options after graduation. Early in the school year, qualifying seniors will receive communication from their high school and the Office of Higher Education detailing the Minnesota colleges and universities they are already admitted to. Students must then complete free applications for their chosen institutions, as all application fees are waived under the Direct Admissions program.

All seniors will meet with a counselor for a "Senior Interview." During the interview, seniors will discuss post-graduation plans, life after high school, credits for graduation and any additional questions they may have about their senior year.
