Fall Butter Braid Sale – sale begins in mid-September with delivery in the middle of December
Band Variety Show (March)– Ticketed show in the AHS Auditorium. Profits are used for the good of the cause and the truck expenses to haul student uniforms and gear for the Florida/Outback Bowl tour.
What: Sell a variety of caramel corn and cookie dough. Take orders, collect payment, and return to the Armstrong Band Department. Pick up the items from Armstrong High School Music Department and deliver to customers. Make 50% profit for your individual band account.

Get a promo flyer to Roger and they will put it on their store social media sites. If we get them hard copies they will stuff it into grocery bags leading up to and on the day of the event.

We need a lead parent and other parent helpers:
Lead Parent(s) needed and will get an equal cut of the profits put into their student’s account. We will create a sign up page on SignUp.com located on our band website.

Parents:
1-2 -Set up/take down, help direct washing, collecting donations, safety, etc.
Students:
5 to 10 students total per shift. Last year students make a significant amount of money toward their student accounts. Usually people are quite generous if you do a good job. Students should help out where needed and may switch between the three jobs throughout the three-hour shift.
Almsted’s will supply one main hose that comes out the back door of the store. We need to bring:
No students in the median in the road and no goofing around. Clean up when we are done. We want it to look better when we leave than when we arrive. If the weather turns bad during the event the lead parent will make the call to continue the car wash or to cancel it. We will try to put the announcement on the Sign-Up page as well.

After you do the taste testing, money will be mailed to the Armstrong Band department and that money will be put into your student’s band account. Who: Armstrong Band students and a few lead parents, too!
What: Earn money for upcoming Band trips and other expenses by bagging groceries while promoting Armstrong High School and the Armstrong Band Program within the community.

Where: We bag at four different Cub Food stores so be clear on the site.
How: Sign up by going to the band website and clicking on the SignUp.com website.
Be sure you meet the following requirements:
Band families will earn an equal percentage of the total money brought in on their shift for their own personal band student account. Families should sign up for a two time slots (1 student + one parent). Wait until two weeks before the event before selecting to work a second shift. Give many people a chance to sign up.
