Course Description: This PLE consists of one 2-hour session. The session will be offered twice. Research shows that restorative practices improve school climate and reduce suspensions and discipline disparities. During this PLE, instructors will focus on two responsive restorative practices; restorative conversations and repairing relationship circles (also known as Peace Circles). Participants will engage in immersive experiences, written reflection, and small group discussions to reach the learning targets. The learning targets include: Participants will know: -Restorative Questions; what they are and when to use them -Restorative Conversations; what they are and when to use them -Repairing Relationship Circles; what they are and when to use them Participants will be able to: -utilize Restorative Questions during Restorative Conversations and Repairing Relationship Circles -collect impact data regarding Restorative Conversations and Repairing Relationship Circles
