You will still be able to participate in DENSI without this kit.
Day 1 July 18th: Join Discovery Education team members and be the first to hear about the exciting updates coming to the DE learning platform for the 2023-24 school year. You’ll join DE Foundations sessions based on your experience level and will build off these sessions into day 2 – think like a “mini-workshop”! We’ll seed the entire day with multiple breakouts to connect with fellow STARs and community-led presentations, the cornerstone of DENSI, will round out the day!
Day 2 July 19th: Building on the buzz of our first day, we’ll start by exploring DE’s learning platform and our Social Impact programs. We’ll expand on the DE Foundations and your learnings from day 1, and you’ll also have another opportunity to hear from a fellow Community member to see how they’re using DE in their school. Day 2 will also consist of multiple breakouts and a fun hands-on activity! We’ll close the day together, sharing our best practices and ideas for how we head into the next school year maximizing the use of DE.
To Register follow each step fully:
Step 1: DENSI is open to STAR educators. If you are not currently a DEN STAR, learn more before registering for the Summer Institute. To apply to be a DEN Star, copy and paste this link into your browser: https://www.discoveryeducation.com/community/den-star/ and follow the prompts.
Step 2: Register in TNL and then see Step 3 to register for the DENSI. Registering in TNL will not automatically enroll you in the institute on Discovery Education’s end. Follow Step 3 to register for the Institute.
Step 3: Register for the DENSI on Discovery’s website. Copy and paste this link into your web browser: (https://www.discoveryeducation.com/learn/densi/) and follow the prompts to register for the Summer Institute.
