Course Description: Five hour session led by National Science Teaching Association. Focus is on structure and pedagogical strategies that cross all OpenSciEd Units. OpenSciEd will be implemented Sept 2021. All 6-8 Science Teachers and administrators in charge of science are encouraged to attend. This should be considered Day 1 OpenSciEd training for grades 6,7, and 8.
Target Audience: 6-8 teachers of science
Outcomes: Participants will understand the pedagogy that is integral to the teaching and learning of the new, 6-8 OpenSciEd curriculum.
