2025 Dates

2025 DATES

The Year 9 Residential Program will take place during Weeks 2 to 5 of each term. Students are required to attend one of the 4-week programs, residing at Vision Valley full time. 

The dates of each program are below:

Term 1: Sunday 2 February - Friday 28 February 2025

Term 2: Sunday 4 May - Friday 30 May 2025

Term 3: Sunday 27 July - Friday 22 August 2025

Term 4: Sunday 19 October - Friday 14 November 2025

Students submit preferences for program dates during 2025 Subject Selection and should preference terms based on Co-Curricular commitments. Programs will be allocated based around these commitments. If parents/carers are unsure which program to attend, please contact Upper School or the Residential Program Team.

EVENTS FOR PARENTS/CARERS and STUDENTS 

As part of our Residential Program, there are multiple events requiring family engagement with the program to coincide with the journey of their child. This may include the following, with dates shared with parents in preparation for their child's program:

• Before the program Information Evening for parents and students. 

• Welcome Day: The first day of the program will include a Welcome event for families when they drop off their daughter to Vision Valley. This will include a tour of the campus, lodges and farewells from 10am - 11:30am

• Honouring Ceremony (reuniting): Parents attend the 'Honouring Ceremony' where parents welcome and honour their children and celebrate their 4-week journey. This is a very special occasion and provides an opportunity for parents to acknowledge and encourage the journey from child to young adult. We recommend that where possible, both parents attend this event from 2pm - 3:30pm on the final program day.
