Pymble students will be allocated into one of two lodges for the duration of their stay – Echidna or Stringybark. Here the students will sleep, eat breakfast, relax and socialise as well as complete some of their day-to-day duties including laundry. The students are responsible for the upkeep of their lodge which is shared on a rotating roster. Careful consideration is given to the student lodge and room placement to ensure they gain a sense of independence while maintaining their emotional and physical wellbeing. The lodges soon become their home away from home, where patience, tolerance and acceptance are learned, new friendships made, and teamwork is enhanced.
Laundry facilities in the lodges include washing machines and dryers. Students are responsible for their own laundry and are allocated a washing day on a rotating roster shared with others.
