The 1970s

Some historians refer to the 1970s as a decade of transition and questioning the goals and objectives of the country.  The decade started under the backdrop of the Vietnam War and will see a President resign from office, an energy crisis that causes stagflation, and a change in foreign affairs with the development of terrorism in the middle east.  This unit features three presidents all of which were marred in controversy.  Americans do not trust the government and are dissatisfied with governmental direction.
