While the overall cost for a facility such as this is enormous, I fully believe the benefits for both these kids and society outweigh the estimated cost. If treated and taught before the negative actions of their past fully set in, or if those fully set in negative moments are brought into light and overtime remedied, the kids have a better chance of being successful and happy in their lives while not hurting anyone else or themselves. The best case scenario is that this center is only a temporary spot for most of the kids, and that after a short stay they are adopted, being fostered to adopt, or reunited with their family or close relatives. In the event that this doesn't happen for all of the kids, it is H.O.M.E.'s duty to prepare the child for the world. Options for these kids include getting their GED, going to a trade school, community college or state school as a full-time scholarship student, or entering the workforce. H.O.M.E. will be there to support them every step of the way.
