Beekeeper's Corner: Message from Mrs. Fordham, Principal

Congratulations to our Super Bees who will receive their awards at the Board of Education meeting on February 19th at 6pm! A Super Bee is chosen from the students who received the Busy Bee Award. To receive the Super Bee Award, students demonstrate kindness and generosity to others that goes above and beyond, having a positive impact on the culture of the classroom. Recipients of the Super Bee Award will receive a certificate, pencil, badge, and a special t-shirt to celebrate their accomplishment!

Welcome new preschoolers and our Vice Principal, Mrs. Kyle Baker-Plale

In January, we were excited to welcome Mrs. Kyle Baker Plale as our new Vice Principal! Now that the expanded preschool program is up and running, more information will be coming from Mrs. Baker-Plale and Mrs. Palestini in the near future. For example, there is a website that has information specific to the preschool program. You can access that page by clicking here or by going to the "Preschool Corner" section of our newsletter.

Thank you for your Kindness!

We can't thank our students and staff enough for showing kindness by providing a huge mountain of juice boxes and chips this month for the Great Kindness Challenge! We know the kids and adults alike at the Ronald McDonald house will appreciate your amazing generosity!

Important Valentine Reminder!

Pre-school, Kindergarten and first grade card exchanges will be February 14th. Due to the Health and Wellness policy, valentine cards with candy are prohibited. Goodie/treat bags are also not permitted. Thank you.

Project Graduation Needs Your Help!

The PMHS Project Graduation committee fundraises and plans non-alcoholic events/parties for after Prom and Graduation. In hosting these events, we provide a safe place for High School students to celebrate their achievements with their fellow classmates, which in turn makes their last hoorah one to remember! We are asking for $10 gift card donations to local eateries, convenience stores, online stores, etc. Any money or check (made out to Project Graduation) donations are greatly appreciated. Please put donations in a sealed envelope to the attention of Project Graduation, Laurie Hyatt. We also need parents who would be able to volunteer to help distribute balloons the night of the 8th grade dance and the night of graduation. Please let Lee Locke know if you are able to help (lockefam22@comcast.net).
