Mom's Buckeyes


After softening the butter, mix peanut butter, butter, sugar and vanilla with hands or electric mixer.  Form into small balls.  Melt chocolate in top of double boiler and add small amount of paraffin. Dip balls into chocolate coating, using toothpick and a spoon.  even better when double dipped.


*I skip the paraffin which is a hardening agent and to add a shine to the buckeyes. I freeze the buckeyes instead.
