James C. Connolly was born on December 25th, 1837 to Thomas Connolly and Henretta Affleck In Mount Stewart, Prince Edward, Island Canada.  He married Joanna I. Eagan and had six children while living in Charlottestown, Prince Edwards Island, Canada.  Their first son, Frederick Patrick Connolly was born on June 4th, 1864.  He was followed by James Connolly in 1866, Henrietta Connolly on June 22nd, 1866, Mary Connolly in 1873, Frank Connolly in 1870, Mary Connolly in 1873,  and John Thomas Connolly in 1875.  Given that all the baptisms occurred in in either St Andrews Church or St. Dunstan's Basillica, it is likely the family were Irish Catholics. James C. Connolly died around 1891.  We have no information on his burial location.
