Session on AI in Education by Ms. Sweedal Colaco
In today's rapidly evolving digital wold, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as an essential skill for every professional. Recognising the growing importance of Aritifical Intelligence in the present digital age, the session focused on developing AI as an essential field among students. The resource person for the session Ms. Sweedal Colaco gave pratical demonstration of the various applications of AI such as Notebooklm, Canvaai , Magicschool AI and helped the students to develop the skill and the competencies required to use AI effectively and responsibly for effective implementation of teaching-learning prococess.
Skill Development to nuture Inclusion and lean to communicate with learners with challenges
On the Ocassion of World Braille Day , the students conducted a meaningful assembly/session on 8th January 2026 with emphasis on skill development and inclusive education. It aimed to create awareness about the importance of Braille as a means of communicating and learning for persons with visual impairment. The session highlightes how access to braille education enables learners to develop esential skills such as oral and verbal communication, digital literacy, independent learning, problem solving and self reliance. Students were sensitized to the need for creating inclusive learning environments and providing equal opportunities for persons with disabilities to acquire academic, vocational and life skills. A visual demonstration of the Braille system was alos presented to familarize the auidence with how braille is read and used for communication and learning.
Implementing Strategies for Time Management among Grade VIII Learners
The students conducted session on various strategies for Time Management among Grade VIII learners of Nazreth English High School, Vasai West on 20th January 2026. They provided strategies such a advance planning through a weekly calender or setting a priority to do list . Set SMART goals -Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound. The students were guided to created their own claender ensuring there is balance of curricular and cocurricular activities.
Session on Classroom Management Skills
Ms. Ranjeeta Gomes, coordinator of St. Augustines Secondary High School, conducted a session on 10th September 2025 for the student- teachers on various strategies of clarroom management. Students are the integral element of the classroom. It is essential to retain their attention, ensure their safety and provide with instruction to ensure optimal learrning and holistic development. Ms. Ranjeeta's vast expereince as a high school teacher , helped the students to learn from her experience and expertise.
Session on Financial Literacy
A session on Financial Literacy and smart investor programme was conducted on 25th August 2025 by Growvest . The session aimed at creating awareness on Finacial planning and digital financial literacy as an essential skill of an independent individual. The resource person for the session Mr. Ritesh Patel provided valuable insights on mamaging finaces and smart investments
Attended Seminar at Hansraj Jivandas College of Education
The Students of Mathematics Pedagogy participated in a one day seminar cum workshop on 8th August 2025, hosted by Hansraj Jivandas College of Education, titled "From Chalboard to Chatbots: Teaching Math in a Changing World- For Mathematics Educators." Facilitated by Ms. Chaitali Mehta, the workshop provided an engaging experience, offering insights into the integration of AI in Mathematics classrooms and hands-on activities that highlighted innovative approaches to teaching and leanring.
Sessions on Digital Skill Developemt
The students enaged in co-operative and collaborative learning through initiatives sauch as peer mentor circle wherin the resource peron conducted demonstation session for their fellow peers. The initiative aimed at devoping the digital skills among students.
Skills in Career and Personal Counselling : Counselling is an important aspect of the teacher's job profile. To ensure that the students are well equipped in counselling students, a number of initiatives have been undertaken.
