Title: Interlinked Self-Learning Resource for Energy Management

About the innovative resource: The platform used to create this innovative resource was Thinglink Tour. Starting from a basic image of a home, Ms Alisha Andrades takes the learners to a tour of the home and leads them to different rooms. In each room there are images with hotspots and on clicking the hotspots the learner can explore how to save energy in the home. Gif images with small bits of information add to the learning experience. The resource also has an immersive reader element so one can hear the text displayed.
The resource was used during internship lessons. It was recognized as the Best Resource at the National Level Online competition on 'Development of E Resources in the New Normal’ organized by University of Mumbai's Thane Sub campus, Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Film City, G.E.S College of Education, Sangamner and Smt Surajba College of Education.

Title: STAR approach to Teaching of Mathematics
Conceptualised by Ms Calista DMello, Ms Vilfrena DMello and Ms Venisa Dias
About the innovation: Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) organised an Inter- Collegiate contest Innovative Teaching Learning Practices for Online Science and Mathematics Education. Ms. Venisa Dias, Ms. Calista DMello and Ms Vilfrena DMello represented the college and presented their ideas in the form of STAR Approach which consisted of a digital story, resources for self-learning on Thinglink, Aesthetics through online hands-on experiences and Review and Revision through online games and reflection through Padlet. The team bagged the third position for their presentation.

Title: Exploring the realms of Cyberbullying through interactive resources
About the innovation: Exploration is very vital to any teacher. With this end in view, the resource was created by faculty member Dr Agnes Dosta using Thinglink platform. The learner can go through variety of resources like videos, text, webquest on Cyberbullying and an E discussion thus promoting self-learning. The E-activities are based on variety of Multiple Intelligences and include scope for logical thinking, problem solving and collaborative work. The innovation was acknowledged as the Best Resource at a national level online competition on 'Development of E Resources in the New Normal’ organized by University of Mumbai's Thane Sub campus, Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Film City, G.E.S College of Education, Sangamner and Smt Surajba College of Education

Stories on Story Weaver
Stories always fascinate children. Concepts that are sometimes abstract can be made easy if they are presented in story form. To transfer knowledge in a creative way, faculty member Dr Agnes Dcosta has uploaded Science Stories on Story weaver. Some of these have been translated to other languages as well.
