Del Oro Student Attendance Policies and Procedures
*30 minute notice required if you are checking a student out early.
ABSENCES (illness, medical/appointments, personal or other reasons)
On the day of a student’s absence, verification of the absence may be made by reporting it on the student DOHS Student Absence Reporting Form or by calling (916) 652-7243 ext. 1017.
Parents are to notify the school as early as possible to verify the absence.
Absences left unverified for 3 days will be considered unexcused.
TARDY POLICY
Eagles arrive on time! Students will be held accountable for tardies throughout the school year.

SIGNING IN & OUT (illness, medical/appointments, personal or other reasons)
DOHS is a closed campus, therefore; students arriving late or leaving early are required to sign in or sign out on the Chromebook in the Attendance Office.
If you would like to sign your student out early or report a late arrival you can use the DOHS Student Absence Reporting Form.
Students must have parent/guardian authorization prior to signing out to avoid receiving a cut.
