THE IMPACT OF RISING SEA-LEVEL ON THE HAWAII COASTAL HOUSING MARKET

How do coastal homes in Hawaiian neighborhoods respond to climate change? As beaches erode, how do home prices rise or fall? This study examines the changes that are coming to the real estate market in one of the country’s most beautiful places. It will examine the value of beachfront access, as well as how the threat of water damage affects a home.

About Me:

I'm double-majoring in both economics as well as the University's Business Leadership Program with an emphasis in finance and marketing. I got my first start with economics when exploring the aviation industry, wondering why airlines flew big planes on some routes while using small ones on others, despite the same distance between cities. This has since blossomed into a deeper understanding of worldly concepts, ranging from financial markets to how consumers behave. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy swimming, flying small planes, and photography.
