Scheduling

The Scheduling module in Genesis Access is for the process of student scheduling for the next school year for high and middle school students. A student's current year schedule displays on the Student Summary screen.

The school will notify parents when the process of selecting next year's courses is open. See the district's Secondary Scheduling web page for up to date information.

Within the Scheduling module, there are two tabs - Scheduling and Requests.

Scheduling
The Scheduling screen shows information for your child for next school year. During the scheduling process, this screen will display courses your child as been recommended for by teachers.

Requests
The Requests screen is where you can request your course choices for the next school year. On this screen, click on the Request a course link under the subject to see available courses.

When the course catalog is open, you'll see a green Request This Course button to choose a class . When you click on the button, you will be asked to confirm your choice. Click OK.

Once the request is made, the Requests screen is updated with your choice.

You can prioritize your course requests between 1 - the highest - and 5 - the lowest - to indicate the order of your choices.

When you are with your selection and reviewing, you must complete the course request process by clicking on the Submit button. After you click the Submit button, you must type the word ACCEPT and click OK. This is your electronic acknowledgement.
