How do I register for Parent Access?
How do I register for Parent Access?
Parents are set up for Parent Access when they register their child for school. You will receive an email from noreplygenesis@pthsd.net to the email address you provided during registration with a temporary password. The first time you login you will be prompted to change your password.

Log into the Genesis Parent Portal for the first time using username and password provided in the email you received
For security purposes, the system will prompt you to reset your password.
The minimum password requirements are:
At least 7 characters
Must have 1 upper case letters
Must have at 1 number
Must have 1 special character
Review Contact Information. Click on Contacts to review your contact information. You may update email addresses and phone numbers in the portal.
Enable email alerts from Genesis. When logged into your account, click on Settings and then Email Alerts. On this screen, check off to receive email messages from Genesis.
Download the Genesis app. From the left-hand side navigation, click on Install App to download to your phone or desktop.

I forgot my password. How do I reset?
If you forget your password please use the "Forgot My Password" link on the Parent Access login screen and a reset password message will be sent to your email address. If you continue to have issues signing in please e-mail genesishelp@pthsd.zendesk.com and include your name, child’s name, and school.
Note: If you lock your Parent Access account, wait 20 minutes and then try again. If your account is locked, wait 20 minutes before requesting a new password. Email genesishelp@pthsd.zendesk.com if additional assistance is needed.
Can I view Genesis Access in another language?
You can view your Genesis Access in a different language. To do so, log into your account. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and choose the language from the drop-down list. The menus and screens will then be translated into the chosen language.
How do I change my Genesis username?
If you have a new email address and need to update your username you can do that in your Genesis Access account. Read here for more information.
