How to Request a Conference in Genesis Parent Portal

• Log into your Genesis parent account at https://parents.pthsd.k12.nj.us/

• Click on the Conferences tab or the student you selected.

• Teachers will be listed with conference time slots. Click on a Reserve button to select a conference time.

• Each Color Represents a different Conference Status

Green = Available Conference

Red = Conference is reserved for another student

White = Conference the parent has reserved (and can cancel at any time)

Yellow = Conference that conflicts with an already reserved conference time

• Your selected conference times will display on the Conferences tab

If it's available for your school, you will have the option of selecting an In-Person or Virtual meeting. Mark your selection and click Submit.

• If a Google Meet URL has been entered by the teacher, the location will become a hyper-link to the Google Meet

• Any scheduled conferences will be listed under the Conferences tab
