Week 8 - Creative Short Stories
WALT: write a detialed short story related to the picture prompt

This week we are going to be writing a range of different creative stories. Each day you will need to check in and see what the image is. Once you have found the image for the day you will need to write a creative story about it.

Week 7 - Thankyou Letters
WALT: write a formal thankyou letter.
Instructions
This week we are going to create thank you letters to our swimming instructors from last week. Find the name of your instructor here: Archie, Geoffery, Eric, Sophia, Leanne, Nia and Jazz.

Week 6 - Inquiry Checkin
WALT: understand the design process and relfect on our projects from this term.
Instructions
This week we are going to be finishing off our design projects. You will have the opportunity to create your design and then reflect on the process.
Watch the team 4 inquiry movie see where you are in the design process.
Make sure that you have a copy of the design task and have filled in each of the slides.
Create your design using the materials that we have in class.
Reflect on the design with your group.

Week 5 - Manaiakalani Film Festival
WALT: be cybersmart and write quality comments in response to the Manaiakalani Film Festival movies.
Instructions
This week is the 16th annual Manaiakalani Film Festival and we have been lucky enough to go and watch our movies at Hoyts Sylvia Park. We are now going to create quality blog comments in response to the Manaiakalani Film Festival movies.
Watch the Inside Out trailer as a class.
Go through some of the example reviews with Miss Parrant.
Complete a quaility blog comment as a class in response to one of the Manaikalani Film Festival movies.
Go through and watch some of the Manaiakalani Film Festival movies and create your own quaility blog comments.
Week 4 - Jack and the Beanstalk
WALT: retell the story Jack and the Beanstalk, using descriptive language and adding detail.
