Week 7 - 8 Multiplication
WALHT: to multiply two-digit numbers. to multiply numbers with more than two digits and a different number of digits. I am drawing upon my times' table knowledge and other number facts.
Instruction:
Provide plenty of practice. The best way to learn multiplication is through practice. Make sure students have plenty of opportunities to practice solving multiplication problems, both in class and at home.

WALHT: skip count in 10s from any number to solve addition problems.
Instructions:
After you have worked with the teacher and understand the learning intention for the week you will be able to complete the activities. Post complete activities to your blog with a task description that tells how you did with the learning for the day.

Week 1 & 2: Mult/div
WALHT: correctly multiply and divide whole numbers up to 100.
Multiplication is a mathematical operation that involves adding a number to itself a certain number of times. It is represented by the multiplication sign (x). For example, 3 x 4 = 12, which means that 4 is added to itself 3 times.
Division is the opposite of multiplication. It involves splitting a number into equal groups. It is represented by the division sign (/). For example, 12 / 3 = 4, which means that 12 is split into 3 equal groups, each with 4 members
