Team 4 Focus Question: How do changes to materials occur and why?
Task Description: You will be learning about the three states of matter (solid, liquid and gas). You will conduct experiments to find out how each of these changes from one state to the other (e.g. how a solid changes into a liquid).
WALT: identify and describe what a liquid is.
Task Description: You will be learning about the state of matter Liquid. We will be talking about what makes a liquid, and how it can be changed into another state of matter (gas and solid). We will then conduct an experiment on how to change a liquid into a solid, and discuss how this could happen. Task
WALT: identify, understand and describe what a solid is.
Task Description: A solid is a type of matter that has a fixed shape and size. For this lesson we are going to learn about what solids are and identify some common solids that you might come across in everyday life. We will also complete an experiment looking at solids and liquids.
