On 20 June 2025, the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) welcomed representatives from the Majlis Dekan ICT (MaDICT) – Council of ICT Deans from Malaysian Public Universities – for an official visit and academic exchange session at PSU Hat Yai Campus.

The event opened with a welcome by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Duangsuwan, Associate Dean for Information Technology and Education Support, followed by an overview video of the Faculty. Presentations were delivered by PSU faculty members from the Division of Computational Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Management Sciences, and the International College, highlighting ICT programs, research initiatives, and international engagement.

With a special presentation by Prof. Ts. Dr. Wan Mohd Nasir Wan Kadir, Chairman of MaDICT, on 'Advancing ASEAN Digital Leadership,' the subsequent discussion was well framed and highly engaging. 

The visit concluded with a lively discussion session, where participants exchanged ideas on joint research, mobility programs, and regional cooperation. As a result, many collaborative ideas were brainstormed, marking a promising step forward in strengthening ASEAN ICT education networks.
