Championship Roadmap

There are total of 3 stages in FTC Malaysia Championship Tournament, in which they are:

• Quarter Final Matches

  • Top 8 Teams from Qualification(Q) round will advance to Elimination round.

  • Each team (top 8)must send a representative to Head referee  for an alliance formation.

  • The top 4 teams from those 8 teams will automatically be selected as Captain Team Alliance.

  • Captain Alliance will choose their Alliance from one of the another 4 teams left. The order to choose will start by the Captain Alliance 1st place >> 2nd place >> 3rd place >> 4th place.

  • After the Alliances are formed, the representatives/lead from Captain Alliance will have a short briefing with the Head Referee. Then, the game will start.

    • • The Alliances consist of 2 Teams each. 

      • There are four (4) Alliances that will compete in the Elimination Matches.

• Semi Finals Matches (Elimination Matches)

• • Seed #1 and Seed #4 compete against each other in the semi-finals 1

    • Seed #1 is assigned as the red Alliance and Seed #4 is assigned as the blue Alliance.

  • Seed #2 and Seed #3 compete against each other in the semi-finals 2

    • Seed #2 is assigned as the red Alliance, and Seed #3 is assigned as the blue Alliance.

• Finals Matches

  • The winner of semi-finals 1 is assigned as the red Alliance.

  • The winner of semi-finals 2 is assigned as the blue Alliance.

  • Winning team will be crowned as the Champion of FTC Malaysia 2023

  • Losing team will be crowned as the Runner-Up of FTC Malaysia 2023
