FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics competition which it requires students to plan, build, program a robot, and compete with other robots. It cultivates different values and skills such as teamwork, creativity in problem solving, communication & organizational, engineering process, building life skills, and career discovery.

FIRST Tech Challenge is held in Malaysia region for its first time by Penang Science Cluster, hence PSC would like to thank again to all participating students, and volunteering mentors! We hope that each participating team is able to put their best feet forward, as this competition will be set as evaluation and benchmark for future FTC competitions.
FIRST Tech Challenge Malaysia is expected to further embed and cultivate interest of students towards STEM education through field of robotics, as well as inspiring creativity and innovation in students. Throughout this competition, teams are expected to submit the following deliveries:
Building a robot well suited for the Championship
Completing and submitting an conclusive Engineering Folio
Completing and submitting Checkpoints Reports on each checkpoint on time
Participating students are well prepared regarding technical & non-technical aspects of team's robot for Interview prior to Championship
