This page includes everything that a team should know about the gameplay of the coming FTC Season 2023/2024 - CENTERSTAGE. This page also consists of different documents, guides, and information required, attending, and explaining the game. Under this page, teams can also find and view their alliance partner for different matches, and also their match fixtures. A list of awards to be awarded was also included on this page.
Each competition matches last for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, in which the first 30 seconds are fully in Autonomous mode. The remaining 2 minutes is the Driver-Controlled mode. In switching from Autonomous mode to Driver-Controlled mode, there will be 5 seconds given, and "3, 2, 1, Go!" which are exclusive in the 2 minutes Driver Mode. The last 30 seconds of Driver-Controlled mode is called the End-Game.
Autonomous Period
First 30 seconds period of the competition, where robots are to move autonomously without any human controlling mechanism or signal, as pre-programmed by teams previously
Driver Controlled Period
Remaining 2 minutes period of competition, where human interference in robot movement is ONLY allowed through the gamepad controller by the robot driver from the Drive Team
End Game Period
Last 30 seconds of the Driver Controlled Period, where human interference in robot movement is ONLY allowed through the gamepad controller by a robot driver from the Drive Team, and a Human Player from the Drive Team can interfere with the game with the introduction of alliance Beacon
Autonomous Period - The initial thirty-second Match period in which the Robots operate and react only to sensor inputs and to commands pre-programmed by the Team onto the onboard Robot control system. Human control of the Robot is not permitted during this time.
Driver Controlled Period - The two-minute Match time in which the Drivers operate the Robots.
End Game Period - The moment when the Match timer reaches 2:00 for the Autonomous Period or 0:00 for the Driver-Control Period which coincides with the start of the sound that designates the End of the Period.
