This is to replace the gas main which runs along the middle of the road. During this time Exmouth Parade will not be able to be served by Services 56, 57, 57B and for some of the time by Services 98 and 99E.The following diversions have been agreed with Devon County Council and the contractors. The lower section of Exeter Road will initially be affected with the dates for the upper section to be advised by Devon County Council and the contractors in due course.Service 56 - journeys into Exmouth will operate to the top of Exeter Road then along Marine Way to terminate at the Leisure Centre. Journeys from Exmouth will operate via Marine Way and Exeter Road picking up normal route from Gypsy Lane.04 January 2017

N & P: NP2658, 3.3 Applications to Vary Existing Services To increase frequency between Exeter and Exeter Airport and increase the number of journeys serving Exmouth East Devon District Council, the East Devon Growth Point and Devon County Council have joined forces in a ground-breaking arrangement to fund significant enhancements to the section of the route operating between Exeter St David’s, the City Centre, Met Office, Science Park, Sky Park and Exeter Airport. By providing improved transport links, the enhanced service will help support the on-going development of the region over the next 3 years. From Monday to Saturday the off-peak frequency will double to every 30 minutes, matching the peak time Monday to Friday frequency. There will also be new journeys very early in the morning and a new evening service introduced to provide connections for all flights and associated key worker hours.The route between the Met Office and Airport will be amended to serve Clyst Honiton instead of the A30. Combined with route 4, this will provide twice the number of buses serving the Science Park. The timetable is coordinated with route 4 to provide a regular 15-minute Monday to Saturday frequency from Exeter.There will also be some minor changes to the timetable between the Airport, Woodbury and Exmouth, with one additional journey than at present. In Exmouth buses will start and finish at the Parade, and will no longer serve the Leisure Centre.In recognition of this innovative partnership approach and to highlight the increased connectivity between the locations, the route will be branded ‘CONNexIONS’. All five buses will feature a bespoke external and internal livery design plus free Wi-Fi.03 September 2018
