While the route will still operate as a circular, the route will be extended to serve Thornpark Rise via Broadfields, which provides replacements in relation to changes to Services A and H1. The new route will reinstate a direct link between Broadfields and Heavitree, which follows passenger feedback. Journeys during the evening and all day on Sunday and Public Holidays will now also serve the RD&E Hospital, providing a partial replacement for Service H, which will not be operating at these times.Some journey times will be extended by up to 10 minutes, however, an improved frequency will be provided. The Monday to Saturday daytime frequency will be increased from every 40 minutes to every 30 minutes on both Services R and S, providing a combined 15 minute frequency.The daily evening frequency is reduced from 30 to 60 minutes on each service, providing a combined 30 minute frequency.
