We invited 4th grade students from Clarks Creek to use their Design Thinking Skills to assemble a new block wall to access our digitarium.
Students were challenged to empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test their design. Instructions included: the wall should be stable, even on both sides, and include an entrance.
They were tasked with deconstructing the original wall. Then they sorted blocks and calculated how many of each color and size were available to use. This was important so they could make both sides of the wall even. Collaboration and communication was also an important part of this task.
The wall exceeded expectations and we are proud of these 4th graders for helping with this extra project!
