Go to sites.google.com

Click the "blank" template button

(This is also the link you can use to find your website)

Put your name in all three spots!

Click on the share button at the top

Click on the "change" text under links

Change the "Pine Bush Only" setting to "Public"

Remember to hit save

Go to the pages tab on the top right

Use the "plus" sign at the bottom right to add a new page

In the dialogue name the page THE NAME OF THE CLASS

E.g. Stars Art, Studio Art, Media Art, Art & Fabrication, AutoCAD

Set up your home page!

You will need...

1. Picture of yourself (something school appropriate)

2. Write 1 - 2 paragraphs about yourself

(Use these prompts if you are having difficulty writing about your self LINK)

If you have extra time!

Change the theme and background images on your website.

Click the publish button on the top right when you have completed....

1. Home page with image & Text

2. A separate page with the name of your class

Make sure the site name is "firstname-lastname"

Hit the publish button when finished

You are currently in edit mode for your google site and I need the publicly facing website link

First select our class website page on the right.

Click the link button at the top

And press the copy link button

(Eventually you will memorize your website link and not have to do this)

In any assignment click the "add or create" button

Then click the "LINK" button

Paste the link you copied from the previous step

And click "Add Link"

YOU ARE NOT DONE YET!!!

I do not grade work that is not "Turned In"

I assume that you do not want it graded yet so I WILL NOT GRADE IT UNLESS YOU CLICK TURN IN
