Instructions: For this assignment you will need to measure your wood block, create a design, and use the laser cutter to fabricate.

4pts Design. Includes the following...
Title block of any style
Rectangle specific to your selected wood block
Dimensions of length and width
A Design that fills 80% of the block
1pt Picture of Laser Cutter. Include a picture of the laser cutter used.
3pts Picture of Fabricated Work. A picture of the completed work is on the website.
2pts On Time. Work is submitted on or before the due date.

A blueprint of your design in any title block.
Includes rectangle of wood block with length and width dimensions.
A picture of the laser cutter. You can take this one or take a picture of the machine yourself.
A picture of the finished object.
STEP 1. Use the command TXTEXP to convert your text to lines!
STEP 2. Use the command OVERKILL to remove duplicate lines. In this example 6 overlapping lines were removed.
STEP 3. Use the following commands in the same order to clean up your text. TRIM (remove extra lines), EXPLODE (separates all lines), JOIN (connects all touching lines)
Step 1. Name your file!
Step 2. Select AutoCAD 2000/LT200 DXF
(This is the file type for the laser cutter)
Step 3. Save your file to a flash drive!
