Welcome! Lets look into some local engineering jobs. For this assignment you will research a local engineering career and company and then make a slideshow you will present.
Timeline:
2 Days + Weekend = Prepare and Research
2 Days = Present your slideshow during a 4 minute presentation
Rubric:
2pts Slideshow Length. There are a minimum of 7 slides. Each slide has relevant information or images. Slides use short sentences, bullets, images, quotes, or some combination.
2pts Slideshow Speaker Notes. Notes section of each slide show research and organization of information.
2pts Slideshow On Website. Slideshow is on students website and has the correct share settings.
4pts Presentation.
Presentation uses a minimum of 4 minutes but not more than 8 minutes.
Speaker presents with a CLEAR and PACED voice.
Speakers content demonstrates preparedness and adequate research

Company - What does the company do/make, where they are located, how long have they been in business, etc...
Company EXTRA - What other information did you find out about companies like this one. Include LINK to referenced information.
Money - What are the qualifications? How much does the job pay? What do other companies pay for the same job? etc...
A SLIDESHOW IS NOT NOT NOT AN ESSAY!
Slides are like an OUTLINE they should have images, bullets, quotes, or short sentences.
Each slide should have SPEAKER NOTES. Information that you will be talking about when that slide is presented.
DO NOT READ SLIDES OFF TO YOUR AUDIENCE! Slides should work WITH your spoken presentation (not be the same thing).
Make sure to adjust your share settings after putting your slideshow on your website. See attached image.
