Communication & You

Communication & You is a year-long course. The course is led by a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist who leads the class in building language skills suitable for various types of everyday life. From Social Thinking to conversational skills to perspective-taking and conversation construct, students study a variety of ways to interact with different people they meet across settings. This course is very relevant for our student population since it can often be confusing to think that different people should be spoken to in different ways. This course helps students navigate those social, professional, and personal interactions, while also setting a foundation for other courses as well.
